this rules are yet to be field tested. if you want to help me set a points value and field test this rules, do it and mail be back at stoppable750@hotmail.com  and remember to name the message "Carnifactor Test" to be sure i'd notice your mail. there are a start-of points value to try, i will change it to the most avarage values people gives me as a final value.

 

this rules are for those who want to field a Carnifactor in games of warhammer 40k. but please note that they are not official by any means and you need your oponents permition to use them. the Carnifactor in general is my creation and no official GW tyranid name.

  Mass points: 5

  Seperate detachment: a carnifactor is taken as a seperate detachment like war machines do. a single carnifactor is a whole detachment and you can only have one carnifactor in a army.

 

Bio-Weapons: a carnifactor have scything talons and two bio-cannons. it also have two carapace-shoulder mounted bio-cannons (twin-linked).

The Horror: it has the horror hive-mind power

 

Options: the carnifactor can replace its two bio-cannons for a bio-plasma cannon at +50pts or a greater strangler at +40pts

  the carnifactor can also replace its two shoulder mounted bio-cannons for spore launchers at no extra cost

  also, it can chose to change the scything claws for crushing claws at +60pts. or insteed of upgrading the bio-cannons it can replace them with crushing claws for free. but note that only one choice of crushing claws is avaible so the carnifactor have either the scything claws replaced or the weapons.

Spore launcher

this larger spore launcher is the same type mounted on the smaller biospex. it can launch a spore cluster of 3 spores each turn. also it can launch one meiotic spore. you can chose one spore mine type per launcher. and you can add one meiotic spore per launcher. the meiotic spore is a one-shot weapon only per launcher.also note that it's important to chose what altitude the meiotic spore is shot to stay in.

the launcher fires at a range up to 72".and is a barrage weapon.

  Special Rules:

  Gargantuan creature: the carnifactor follows the rules for monstrous and gargantuan creatures. and it counts as 40 models in close combat for purposes of enemy morale.

  Warp Field: it has a warp field that gives it a 5+ invulnerable save

  Regenerate: the carnifactors have a fast rate of healing. they benefit from regenerate (see codex: Tyranids)
