the Tyranid threat is growing like a plague within the imperial worlds, and yet more are comming. there was newly reported of a new fresh Fleet emerging from the eastern fringe near tau space. the fleet was quite large,and sphread into 3 different tendrils. similar to how hive fleet Leviathan appeared. each of those numbered about over thousands of hive ships. all of them was similar but varied in the way of specialised species. the Fleet was Codenamed Scizor. and the three tendrils was sub-codenamed due to their different approaches. the first and largest tendril of Scizor was sub-Codenamed AcidBreathe. it takes use of various long-ranged bio-weaponry in a high rate, and Termagants are a common sight among the larger deathspitter armed warriors and venom-carnifexes. the second tendril was sub-codenamed Scyther. it seemed to develop melee fighting as a main adaption and have taken a extensive use of Genestealers during their invasions, combined with vicious scythed warriors and crushing-clawed carnifexes. the third tendril was Codenamed Dragon's claw. it seemed to develop a high rate of fast moving creatures, both on ground and in the air. the combined strenght of numerous gargoyles and tunneling Raveners. even Trygons was a common sight. the scizor fleet as a whole seem to rely heavily on large creatures as much as the smaller ones. all with a special purpose,varied through each tendril.

the first world falling into the grasp of Scizor was Preyara prime,the Homeworld of the Yau'Ta colony in the outher rim of tau space. but the tau commander Shas'O yau'ta Ta'Sedar also called "commander Darkmoon" did recieve the warning in time. Darkmoon prepared his tau fleets for defending the planet at all costs. the Cadre's was prepared for ground defences. the arriving of the Scyther tendril came a few weeks after the army was prepared. Darkmoon tacticaly lead his fleet into attacking the hive flet when it was still in hibernation after exiting warp space. a 3rd of the fleet was destroyed before responding with it's acid firepower. the tau fleet suffered serious casaulties but did suceed to get the Scyther tendril to flee out of tau space,reduced to half its previous strenght. only some of the spores successfully landed on Preyara prime, but was fastly whiped out by the ground forces. victory was gained to the Yau'Ta colony of the tau. Commander Darkmoon did earn Honour and fame during his skilled actions during the battle. he did prevent almost every hive ship from letting the swarm down to the surfice of Preyara prime. the Scyther tendril now heading towards imperial space,away from the tau.only half it's previous strenght.but yet highly hostile to the empire.now seeking isolated worlds to devour in order to grow again.

after the battle of Preyara prime, the tendrils moved on. but several lesser Tau colony worlds was wiped out by the other two tendrils. but now all three seem to split-up to go seperate directions to enlarge each tendril and consume the galaxy from all directions. many un-defended or weakly defended imperial worlds was devoured in their wake. the Scyther fleet was once again facing a hard oponent.this time Space marine chapters defended a valued cluster of smaller planets within imperial space. Scyther had grown strong again but it wasnt enough.Scyther was broken into two parts fleeing deeper into the imperium.

after Scyther tendril was broken, one part fled at one direction but remained at it's ordinary adaption to battle. however the other part contained most of the large beasts and developed different.this was a bad sign for the imperium. the 4th Tendril sub-codenamed the Titan's maw evolved a huge amount of large beasts, and there now was 4 different tendrils of Scizor to worry about.
